Take the highway (Autobahn) A57 to its end in Cologne. Leave it turning right towards "Lindenthal". From Oberhausen

Auf der A3 bis zum Autobahndreieck Heumar; von dort weiter auf der A3 in Richtung Oberhausen bis zum Autobahnkreuz Köln-Ost; dort rechts ab in Richtung Zentrum; auf der "Zoobrücke" den Rhein überqueren und der Inneren Kanalstraße und später deren Verlängerung Universitätsstraße folgen. Die Straße unterquert den "Albertus-Magnus-Platz", den zentralen Platz der Universität.

From Aachen

Take the A4 to the interchange "Köln-West". Follow the A1 in the direction of Dortmund, but leave the A1 at the very next exit, "Köln-Lövenich". Turn right into the "Aachener Straße" towards the city center. Follow the "Aachener Straße" for about five kilometers. Turn right into "Universitätsstraße".
