Dr. Alexander Puetz is working as research assistant and lecturer at the Department of Finance of the University of Cologne. He is a qualified management assistant in IT-systems and has obtained a Diploma in business economics from the University of Cologne, with specializations in finance, corporate finance, and statistics. He wrote his dissertation in the field of asset management on the behavior of institutional investors. Afterwards, he worked as portfolio manager for quantitative products at an asset management company. His research mainly focuses on mutual funds and hedge funds, especially on the behavior of the fund managers.
